This class explores ways to apply the teachings and methods of the Buddha to the Thanksgiving holiday, turning an ordinary meal into a feast of virtue. The class will end with a guided meditation on the Four Thoughts That Turn the Mind. The Four Thoughts are foundational to the practice of Dharma and common to all Buddhist traditions. Through repeated contemplation of the Four Thoughts, we can change our deeply ingrained thought patterns, transforming our everyday experiences into a vehicle for true happiness.
