Our minds have been dragging us around with distraction for longer than we can imagine. When we try to meditate or generate compassion, we can often get discouraged by the force of our mental habits. This class will focus on how to have compassion for oneself while cultivating a commitment to one's practice. This class will include a short meditation to calm and center the mind. Both relaxing and healing, this meditation can be practiced by anyone, regardless of religious tradition.
